The Revopoint Inspire 2 is a compact, handheld 3D scanner that can be used both on the move and at a fixed workstation. It combines dual-camera technology with structured infrared light and a multi-line laser, so the scanning method can be matched to the task at hand. It supports objects from 20 × 20 × 20 mm up to 2 × 2 × 2 m, with an accuracy of 0.05 mm per frame and a precision of 0.03 mm. The scanner works with Windows and macOS computers as well as Android and iOS devices. Scanning at up to 90 frames per second and exporting to common 3D formats means the resulting model is ready for further use straight away.

Volumetric accuracy of 0.05 mm plus 0.1 mm per metre of object length helps keep proportions and dimensions intact, even on larger scans. This is particularly useful for reverse engineering and mechanical part design, where less correction is needed afterwards.

Two scanning modes give you more control over the result. Structured light is well suited to capturing shapes quickly, while laser mode reproduces fine detail and more difficult surfaces. Eleven parallel infrared laser lines help the scanner perform on dark, shiny or low-contrast surfaces. Weighing about 190 g and built compactly, it can be operated with one hand, and Wi-Fi connectivity allows work without a computer. The Revo Scan software lets you edit point clouds and meshes and fill gaps within the same program.
