The HOMEPILOT classic s10 retrofit shutter motor is a self-learning tubular motor with a soft stop function. It is particularly fast and cost-effective to deploy, as it does not require endpoint programming or learning runs. The motor detects whether it has reached its end points even on the first run. The motor has precise position detection and torque monitoring, and thanks to the integrated obstacle detection in both directions, it protects the shutter from damage. Furthermore, the engine has a particularly sensitive and gentle obstacle detection system. For example, if a chair is placed under the patio door and the motor starts, it senses the obstacle, stops and reverses slightly. This prevents costly damage to the shutter, the motor or the barrier itself. It can also be connected in parallel and has a lockable universal motor head that allows tool-free installation and high compatibility with other systems. The classic s10 shutter motor also has automatic shutter length compensation. This system, with its automatically learning endpoints, ensures that the shutter always opens fully, even in the case of material aging and significant temperature fluctuations. Installation is simple and time-saving. All you need for self-learning is rigid shaft couplings or retaining springs, as well as stops or a stop bar. The motor automatically detects whether rigid shaft couplings or locking springs are used.
