The Shelly Plus 1 Mini GEN3 is an improved version of the Shelly Plus 1 mini single circuit smart relay. It is the same as its predecessor, capable of switching a maximum current of 8A. Like the Shelly Plus 1 Mini, the controlled circuit of the Shelly PLUS 1 Mini GEN3 is also independent of the supply voltage required for the operation of the relay, so it is also suitable for voltage-free dry contact switching. It does not have a consumption meter function.

Like all other Shelly products, it is directly connected to the WiFi router, no local center, hub or bridge is needed for its smart control. Even if only 1 device can be installed independently to automate an electrical consumer or lighting, it is also a good choice as a complete system for converting an entire property that is newly built or about to be renovated into a smart home.

This is one of the smallest Wi-Fi devices for smart connection control. Its small size allows it to be installed either behind a standard light switch in the switch socket or in an electrical junction box, or retrofitted.

With the help of Shelly PLUS 1 MINI GEN3 placed in the wall socket behind the existing light switches, we can remotely control our lighting or other consumers while keeping our existing switches, as well as monitor their on/off status, so the product is also ideal for retrofitting. The Shelly Plus 1 Mini GEN3 is suitable for lighting control when installed behind one-button light switches, but due to its maximum current limit of 8A, it is not suitable for controlling sockets!

The Shelly Plus 1 Mini GEN3 relay - like other small Shelly smart relays - contains a switch input, i.e. when installed behind light switches, you can still use the wall light switch to switch on the lamp (or other consumer), and you can also switch on the controlled lamp or other device remotely via WiFi, and we also have a number of timings at our disposal. In the Shelly app, it is also possible to disable the switch - which can be useful in some rooms with small children - with such settings, the given relay can only be controlled from the app.

The relay is compatible not only with two-position switches, but also with rocker (or bell) switches. It is also suitable for connecting alternative and crossover switching.

With its auto-off function, it can also be set to pulse switching mode.

The Shelly PLUS 1 Mini GEN3 relay has a controlled circuit that is independent of the (110V-240V AC) power supply and is suitable for voltage-free (so-called dry contact) switching and for controlling max. 8A (max. 240V) AC or 5A (max. 30V) DC! It is also suitable for applications where potential-free switching is required, for example, it is also used for smart control of garage doors and gate opening motors. It is also capable of connecting 12V or 24V DC or AC used in irrigation systems.

Important: the operation of the Shelly PLUS 1 MINI GEN3 requires provided phase and neutral conductors. Also, the switched phase(s) coming from the switch(s) must come from the same phase(s), the Shelly Plus 1 Mini GEN3 is not suitable for multiphase operation!

GATEWAY FUNCTIONS:

Its predecessor uses an ESP32 chip, but the Shelly Plus 1 Mini GEN3 is already equipped with the ESP-Shelly-C38F chip. Like its predecessor, the device also supports Wi-Fi + Bluetooth protocols. It also includes a Bluetooth gateway, it can also function as a Bluetooth receiver/gateway for Shelly's new generation Bluetooth sensors and Bluetooth remote control. It also includes a Wi-Fi repeater (Wi-Fi signal repeater) function, which, when turned on, transmits a Wi-Fi signal to Shelly devices installed further away - as a kind of Wi-Fi mesh.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING:

It is paired with a phone, like other second-generation Shelly Plus and Pro devices, using the Bluetooth protocol, simply and quickly.

STRONGER PROCESSOR, MORE FUNCTIONS:

The Shelly Plus 1 Mini GEN3 already belongs to the third generation of products, it has double the amount of memory compared to its predecessor, it has an ESP-Shelly-C38F chip. Thanks to this, its memory has increased from 4MB to 8MB.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION:

The Shelly Plus 1 Mini GEN3 is equipped with overheating protection, so it guarantees even safer operation when installed in the smallest wall sockets, even in small spaces.

SHELLY PLUS FUNCTIONS:

The product:

- Supports HTTP/HTTPS webhooks so enhanced Shelly Plus products can easily connect, notify or control compatible products or other automation systems
- They support switching off/on timed to the time of sunrise / sunset, now a difference of +/- 23 hours can be specified,
- They can manage up to 20 timers (stored on the device, also working offline),
- Supports mjS scripts, allowing customers to create their own features and functions! Shelly Plus line devices allow multiple scripts to be executed simultaneously depending on different triggers such as input/output status, sensor data or WLAN requests.
