Product description
Discovery Nano Gravity is a classic, entry-level monocular microscope for observing samples at 40x to 400x magnification. The microscope can be used to study the pre-made slides in the set, as well as the slides made by yourself. The microscope is a great choice for those who are experiencing the micro world for the first time, as it allows simple scientific experiments to be carried out in a home environment. It also serves as an excellent aid for studying biology at school. The kit includes everything you need for observation, including accessories and a colorful "Invisible World" educational book.
The optical system includes achromatic objectives and a wide-field eyepiece. All lenses are made of optical glass, so they provide a sharp and high-contrast image. With the help of a microscope, small parts can be observed in the entire magnification range. The 40x objective is protected by a spring-loaded protective frame. The monocular head part can be tilted by 30°, so long-term use of the microscope does not cause fatigue.
The stage is equipped with sample holding clips and a diaphragm plate with six holes to control the light flux. The microscope has a combined LED light located above and below the stage. Thus, samples with any degree of transparency can be examined. The lighting works with traditional elements that are part of the kit.
In addition to the microscope, the set also includes the educational book "Invisible World". In the colorful book, we explain all important information, such as the parts and function of the microscope, what bacteria and protozoa look like, what can be seen in a drop of water, etc. – and all this in simple terms. In addition to the theory, the book also presents interesting experiments that can be performed at home with the Discovery Nano Gravity microscope.
