      Product description

      The Komshine KLS-35-MS is an optical light source designed for direct-method optical power measurement in fiber optic networks. It operates at four wavelengths, 850, 1300, 1310 and 1550 nm, making it versatile for testing fiber optic links. The output power is -5 dB, and it uses a universal 2.5 mm interface with an SC connector.

      Output power stability is ±0.05 dB over 15 minutes and ±0.1 dB over 8 hours, allowing accurate and reliable measurements. Modulation modes available are CW, 270 Hz, 1 kHz and 2 kHz.

      It is powered by three AA alkaline batteries, so it is well suited to portable, on-site measurements. Measuring 160 × 85 × 45 mm and weighing just 220 g, it has a compact, easy-to-handle design.
