The NetGeeks NL80 is a cable length tester for network (STP/UTP), coaxial and telephone cables. It is designed for testing and tracing these lines and, using time-domain reflectometry (TDR), it can determine cable length accurately up to 1000 metres while locating breaks and short circuits.
The tester supports PoE and PING tests as well as port flashing, and it detects common wiring faults such as swapped, crossed and split wire pairs. A 2.8-inch colour LCD keeps readings easy to see. Non-contact voltage detection (NCV), a built-in flashlight and a rechargeable lithium battery make it a practical tool for everyday professional use.
