The UT681C supports cables ending in RJ45, RJ11 and BNC connectors (via the included RJ45-BNC adapter). It allows you to quickly check signal continuity and diagnose short circuits, open circuits and faulty connections, including crossed pairs. The built-in LED array (LED1~LED8 and LED_G) allows easy evaluation of the condition of individual conductors of the cable, both in fast and slow test mode.
The device can be operated with a single button, so there is no need for complicated configuration. An automatic power-off function protects the battery after 10 minutes of inactivity, and a low battery indicator warns when the power supply needs to be replaced. The tester is light, handy and ready to use as soon as you insert the battery.
