Product description
The volume contains sociological and demographic writings written between 2005 and 2015 dealing with the breakdown of relationships and the formation of new relationships. The published studies are recommended for anyone interested in the changes taking place in the field of relationships, whether lay or professional. However, the developments of recent years are not covered by the scope of the studies and there is little research at all on this topic, although significant and rapid changes in the field of relationships would make it particularly warranted to continue the investigation. This volume may contribute to arousing interest in the topic and launching new research.
In some of the studies in this volume, data analysis is performed using event history analysis. This method is widespread in demography (and also in sociology), but there is no literature in Hungarian. The brief summary provided as an appendix can help those who want to study more closely the nature of this type of analysis, or even want to use the method themselves.
