This colourful, interactive board book introduces the youngest children to the vegetables and fruits that grow in a garden. Using the Montessori method, it presents the wonders of nature to the very youngest readers, from fruit growing on trees and bushes to plants developing above and below the ground.

As they turn the pages, children meet basic concepts such as small and big, or sweet and sour. The playful layout helps them get to know the inhabitants of the vegetable patch while building vocabulary and sharpening their powers of observation.

The sturdy cardboard binding and compact size make it easy for small hands to handle, making it a good choice for toddlers who are just starting to explore the world around them.
