This practical power cable lets you power devices through a standard USB-A port, replacing a conventional 5 V external power adapter. One end has a USB-A connector, the other a 5.5/2.1 mm DC jack plug. At 50 cm long and weighing 30 g, the cable is compact and lightweight. The black version is male-to-male (apa/apa).
It is especially suitable for barcode scanners connected via an RS-232 cable, as well as compatible customer-facing displays and accessories for POS systems. Power is supplied directly from the USB port, so no separate mains adapter is needed.
