    The TP-LINK TL-SG1016D is a gigabit Ethernet switch with 16 RJ45 ports, each supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps. It can be placed on a desk or mounted in a rack, making it a practical way to expand a small or medium-sized network with additional connections and no complicated setup.

    Every port supports Auto MDI/MDIX, so there is no need to worry about cable type or crossover wiring. Auto-negotiation detects the speed of each connection automatically, and the switch is ready to use as soon as it is plugged in.

    The non-blocking switch architecture forwards packets at full wire speed, while 10K jumbo frame support helps with large file transfers. IEEE 802.3x flow control eases congestion in full-duplex mode. Energy-efficient technology adjusts power consumption to link status and cable length.
