TP-LINK EAP650 AX3000 ceiling-mountable Access Point

The TP-LINK EAP650 is a ceiling-mount access point built on the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard. It delivers up to 2976 Mbps combined, with 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, making it suited to locations with many connected devices. Its 160 MHz channel support lets a single data stream carry more traffic during peak periods.

The access point can be managed centrally through Omada SDN integration, either locally or from the cloud via a web interface or the Omada app. Omada Mesh allows wireless links between access points, extending coverage and giving installers more flexibility. According to the manufacturer, video streams and voice calls are not affected when users move between coverage areas.

Power is supplied via 802.3at PoE+ or optionally through a DC adapter. The slim housing, 160 mm in diameter and 33.6 mm high, blends discreetly into ceilings. It includes one Gigabit LAN port.
