How does it work?

The 16-ported 10/100MBPS desktop/rack-mounted Switch, TL-SF1016DS, is developing its old network into a high power, low-cost easy-to-use, barrier-free and standard 100MBPS network. All 16 ports support Auto MDI/MDIX, no need to torment with the cable type, simple plug & play. In addition, innovative energy use technology can achieve TL-SF1016DS up to 75%* power savings, and 80%of packaging materials can be recycled, making it a really environmentally friendly solution for its office network.

This new generation, 16 port, 10/100MBPS Switch, TL-SF1016DS, is characterized by the latest energy efficient technologies, which can greatly increase its network capacity with less energy consumption. Automatically sets the current in accordance with the connection status and the cable length based on the value of the carbon footprint on the network. It meets EU Rohs, which prohibits the use of certain hazardous substances. In addition, 80% of the packaging materials can be recycled.

High performance

Rack-mounted steel cover, combined with a secure-rated internal power supply, makes Switch a strongest product, which is very cost-effective in less than 16 users. It is characterized by a non-blocking switch architecture, so TL-SF1016DS transmits and filters the packages at full wired speed for maximum throughput. The IEEE 802.3x River monitoring in Full Duplex mode and Backpressure (Backpressure) in Half Duplex mode relieves data congestion and provides reliable operation.

Easy to use

Self-adjusting characteristics for this Switch make it easy and trouble-free. No need to configure, no reverse wiring cable is required through auto-MDI/MDIX cable. Auto-Negotiation detects connection speed (up to 10, 100 Mbps) on each port and smartly adjusts compatibility and optimum performance.
