      The TP-LINK ISM311LM is an industrial SFP transceiver for Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber. It follows the 1000Base-SX standard and features an LC connector for multimode fiber cabling. The module plugs into a free SFP slot on switches, routers or media converters and transmits data at 1 Gbit/s over fiber links.

      The metal housing protects the module against physical damage, and the manufacturer states that it offers good shielding against electromagnetic interference. It is designed for industrial network environments; for the operating temperature range and other environmental details, please refer to the datasheet.

      Weighing just 25 g, the transceiver is easy to handle and install. It is inserted into the SFP slot without tools, and its compatibility with TP-Link enterprise network products makes it straightforward to expand an existing infrastructure.
