The AXIS T8613 is a compact SFP transceiver module for 1000BASE-T, providing a Gigabit Ethernet connection to compatible network devices through a single RJ45 port. It is designed for networks that require a stable link at 1 Gbit/s. Weighing just 40 g, the module plugs easily into the matching port of a compatible device.
Its industrial design and wide operating temperature range allow it to be used in demanding environments. The link-loss function also supports network redundancy.
The module can be connected while the system is running, so there is no need to shut the system down first. It transmits data over standard Cat5 twisted-pair copper cable for distances of up to 100 metres.
