The TP-Link Archer MR402-Outdoor is a 4G LTE router designed for outdoor use, suited to locations without a wired internet connection. It supports 3G and 4G mobile networks, including UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+, DC-HSPA+, FDD LTE and TDD LTE, and can be mounted on a wall or a pole.

The device operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands using the Wi-Fi 5/ac standard, reaching up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz. An integrated 4-port switch and a 10/100 Mbps LAN port allow wired devices to be connected. Power over Ethernet support makes installation easier in places without a nearby power outlet.
