THE TWENTY-YEAR WINTER slowly fades from people's memories as they face yet another torment. Seal, the evil witch, puts the Sun to sleep so that eternal night falls on the world. At the same time, the monsters of the underworld, wraiths, strigas, and demons are also released to cover the inhabited landscape. Kúcsen must descend to the underworld in order to free his kidnapped love, Ilona Tündérszép, at the cost of difficult struggles. After that, an even bigger task awaits him: he must wake up the Sun and defeat the lord of the underworld, Karakondzul, so that life can go on as normal again. The question is whether the táltos will be able to win this time as well, since Karakondzul's night is not only darkness, but also the beginning of a new world order, in which there is no place for good.
