As a fairy tale illustrator, Emma Heinzelmann can be considered a defining personality for a long time. Within his style, he is characterized by a varied presentation, but his graphics always have something individual. A whole generation of children grew up reading Hauff's and Andersen's fairy tales and imperceptibly absorbed the images of contemporary Europe in his austere, grotesque drawings. András Székely draws a diverse and interesting background for this exceptionally talented artist: he depicts the age in which she was destined to live and create in a plastic way, supplemented by countless cultural historical data.
