Sucht Schweiz - Lurkó

Lurkó is a cheerful and kind puppy who loves his owner Palkó very much and would like their life to go on as usual again and for Palkó's alcohol problems to end. With the help of Lurkó, we can encounter many different emotions, happiness, fear, uncertainty and hope. Children who grow up in addicted families also ride this emotional roller coaster. This book offers help to them, so that they can recognize that they can talk about their problems, ask for and receive help. The storybook is supplemented by the website www.lurko.kimondhato.hu, where there are four more stories and a pedagogical aid for adults reading the story. In Hungary, approximately four hundred thousand children live in families where one or both parents are alcoholics or addicted to other addictions.
