Product description
The chronicle of leader Lél, i.e. Lehel, was one of the events that were widely known in the world of Hungarian legends. At the end of the western campaigns, after the Battle of Augsburg, General Lehel became a hero, who resisted the then leader of the Holy Roman Empire, which was at war with the Hungarian army, even during his imprisonment, and according to tradition, he struck the emperor dead with his horn. The story of leader Lél is primarily known based on the Képes Chronicle written by Anonymus. Anonymus mentions Lehel as the son of Tas. But it is also conceivable that he is a descendant of Árpád, although this has not been proven. However, it is certain that they led our armies in the west together with the famous leader Bulcsú. Currently, the Jászók Horn is kept in the Jászberény museum, which many identify with Lehel's horn.
