The title of this volume is the same as that of my very first review, which was written more than a decade ago about the debut volume of Ádám Gábor Nyerges, and the subtitle refers to the X and Y generations, whose fiction writers these writings are about. I tried to compile the volume in such a way that the proportions could be seen from all aspects: that I wrote roughly one and a half times as much about young people as about members of the middle generation, that I write more often about volumes of poetry than about prose, etc. The 'insensitivity of grammar" it refers to my way of reading, which the reviews clearly testify to: analytical, close reading - this explains the "over-representation" of the lyric" in my critical work - which most of the time refrains from open value judgments, but at the same time, the weight and difficulty of the text must emerge from the analyzes for the reader; it is how successfully the individual volumes move their stakes.
