The SilverStone SST-CPS05-RE is an internal adapter cable that converts a mini-SAS SFF-8643 connector into four 7-pin SATA connectors. It lets you connect up to four storage drives at once to a SAS controller, making it a practical way to run SATA drives on a SAS system.
The cable supports the SAS-3 standard, delivering a data transfer rate of 12.0 Gbit/s. Its light blue SATA connectors make ports easy to identify and help keep cabling tidy. A sideband SGPIO cable is also included, enabling advanced drive management functions.
