Prof.Dr.Bonvy Iván - Memória!Zavar? Mellékhatás

Who cares about the mysterious world of healthcare? Almost everyone! There are tons of movies and TV series about doctors, clinics, nurses, emergency departments, and strange diseases. Not in vain, because this world is not boring at all. Behind the seemingly sterile membrane of white coats, clogs and green surgical gowns, professional dedication, competence, experience, human compassion can be found just as much as debauchery, intrigue, lust for power, hunger for money, scandals and, of course, sex. In addition, there is - as is well known - a lot of humor. Prof. Dr. Iván Bonvy, a forensic medical expert, has been collecting the most surprising and amusing stories of the Hungarian medical community and professional staff, which he knows from the inside, for years. He tells stories - from the distant past through the recent past to the present day - and more than once in his book introduces you to secrets that, although they are largely demonstrably true stories, cannot be found in the official trade magazines. (I only mention Rákosi's conscientious surgeon, the Váci út amok, or the porn star who is an anatomy scientist, and the tight-lipped star-dentist, not to mention the confused Viagra researcher.) Anyone who starts reading - whether a layman or a professional - does not regret it, because the author really has a (side) effect on the reader and makes sure that his dear "patients" have a great time and even laugh yourself sick regularly. But those looking for more serious values will not be disappointed either. After all, the anecdote evokes characters, ages, eternal human situations, and commemorates otherwise forgettable, but nevertheless unforgettable personalities. A well-written anecdote is a literary experience. The author elaborates his subject thoroughly, he does not skimp on the presentation of the history, human feelings, and heated professional debates. This is precisely what gives Dr. Bonvy's writings their real charm, and it is precisely for this reason that they cannot be put down. After all, an anecdote often reveals more about an age, a professional milieu, than a scientific monograph, while the processing of not infrequent tragic situations and painful difficulties is alleviated by healing laughter and a salutary smile. We would also like to draw the attention of our readers to the fact that the author - assuming the risk - did not intentionally renounce the historical fidelity and professional mood painting suitable for the presentation of real-life situations, so the text was written in a particularly informal, outspoken style.
