When writing this book, I tried my best to expand my attention to everything possible. The art of cooking, however, encompasses material of such a size that it could easily fill a book twice as large. Dear readers, who are themselves quite familiar with the art of cooking, will find it a bit strange that I have described the preparation of some of the simplest dishes and that I have been excessively thorough in the communication of one or another recipe. However, I had to reckon with the fact that my book will mostly be acquired by those who have no knowledge and experience in the field of cooking, and therefore need a thorough guide. In order to make the recipes easier to understand, I was forced to offend the style in many cases, but since it is a cookbook, I will be forgiven for that. After outlining these, I am releasing this first book of mine to the general public in the hope that it will play the role of advisor and helper in households. - writes the author in the foreword of his book.
