Nemere István - Kossuth Lajos magánélete

similarly to his previous works, the author delved deeply into the subject this time as well. Although it cannot be abstracted from Kossuth's political life, István Nemere reduced it and his book unfolds in this way, or precisely because of this, a very interesting story. We get to know Kossuth's habits, the small and big events of his life, the good as well as the bad, the things to hide and be ashamed of. The history of one of his adulteries and the financial circumstances in which he lived were not a secret. Countless small but important facts emerge from the emigration period of his life, which the majority of readers can only find out from these pages. Lajos Kossuth, the private man, was also a very complex personality... The man who had perhaps the greatest impact on some bright years of Hungarian history, after that period had passed, he could no longer return to the paths leading to his original goal. From then on, he only wandered, but he also watched the fate of his country from afar, over which he could exert less and less influence.
