The Snowman he met in Guvat and Gazella is recovering from a serious injury, so it falls to Toby to take on the role of the prophet among the guvatkas. From his stories about the world before the epidemic, it slowly becomes clear what and how actually caused the destruction of humanity. The daily life of the camp's inhabitants is spent in constant struggle: in addition to the bloodthirsty criminals who have escaped from the gladiator arena that serves as a prison, the hyperintelligent hybrid pig species, the globoses, are also preparing to attack them.
