Eleven-year-old Főzfanni is enthusiastic about many living creatures, but her favorites are the hard-to-love animals known in the area as stink bugs. The residents of Vadlenfalva consider them monsters, but Főzfanni is sure that these animals play a vital role in nature. Recently, however, nature has become angry with humans. All kinds of trouble plagues the random village, and fewer and fewer of the winged bears are returning home, even though these migratory animals have been wintering in glittering bubble nests in the canopy of blue willow trees since time immemorial. This year, however, no winged bears have returned, and no one knows why. When a gift surprises Főzfanni and her friend Konrád with magic, she decides to stand up for the animals and even manages to solve the mystery of the missing winged bears.
