Huszka József - A magyar turáni ornamentika története

The history of Hungarian ornamentation is not a collection of findings that appear to be true and emerged from a labyrinth of legends, traditions, ancient records and linguistic comparisons, but the speech of the forms of old and modern industrial art objects that can still be seen, grasped, weighed, and are of greater or lesser artistic value. I try to make the language of the forms sound, so that they can tell where, when, for what purpose and occasion, or with what purpose they were born. The Becses reader holds József Huszka's last work, which was completed in 1929 and is a summary of the author's oeuvre.
