Greetings to the Reader, whom this volume tries to lead to the heights of religious studies. Dealing with classical authors guides us to a region from which it is really worth looking around, catching a glimpse of the peaks of distant mountain giants, measuring shapes against each other, and resting for a short time and thinking about the truths. According to the theme of the volume, he therefore discusses classics, and even if he does not do this in every single study, he wants to remain classic in the sense that he follows a method that measures itself to the essence of the phenomena. This method is called phenomenology. He therefore adopts a position from the perspective of which he discusses, on the one hand, the eternal problems of religious studies, and, on the other hand, all the current socio-cultural topics that have to do with the religious interpretation of the world. My book is a collection of studies, but it tries to overcome this limitation by genre by insisting on and relying on the rigor of the common method that can be found in the studies, and ventures back and forth to areas that once were, but today are not among the established topics of religious studies. On the other hand, I am convinced that we will only be able to see the heights and depths of religious science if we do so from the summits of related sciences, recognizing them. In other words, any related science can help the self-understanding of religious studies, as long as it is pursued at the highest level.
