      The HighPoint Rocket 720L is a high-performance SAS/SATA controller card that delivers data transfer rates of up to 12 Gb/s through a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot. The card offers 16 ports via four internal SFF-8643 connectors, allowing 16 drives to be connected at once. It is a suitable choice for building large-capacity DAS storage systems.

      The controller supports 512, 512e and 4Kn format drives as well as disks larger than 2 TB, and hot-plug operation is available. Additional features include the Storage Health Inspector, drive reading and repair, Staggered Drive Spin Up, and Write Back and Write Through caching.

      The card is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022. It can optionally be installed in a low-profile configuration, and the package includes a low-profile bracket.
