    The Broadcom MegaRAID 9520-8I is a versatile storage controller designed for efficient data management and strong performance in server and storage environments. Its built-in SAS3808 processor and low-profile design allow the card to handle up to 16 storage devices at the same time, making it suitable for a range of applications.

    The controller supports SATA 6 Gb/s, SAS 12 Gb/s and PCIe 4.0 (NVMe) interfaces, and operates in RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10 and JBOD modes. SSD Guard technology and global hot spare support help protect data integrity and availability.

    With S.M.A.R.T. support and the Patrol Read function, the card actively monitors drive health, reducing the risk of data loss. It operates within a temperature range of 0–55 °C and draws only 6 W of power, with a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 5,000,000 hours.
