Two simples in Kedves (memoir); Silver of Oklahoma (portraits); I consider the three books Viharkabat (poems) to be a trilogy. Once at the writers' association, István Örkény asked me: What do you do? I answered confused. I'm writing a novel. Örkény exclaimed. Damn it! And I can't write a novel! He wrote the one-minute plays and dramas, including Tótek and Macskajáték, and his success raced across Europe, but he was hurt by the fact that he couldn't write a novel. My message Odaátra, humbly, to István Örkény: I can't write a novel either . No novels, no short stories, no portfolios, essays, reports, memoirs and portraits. I can't write prose. I've written poetry all my life. November 2015 G. Á.
