In the new volume of Gábor Gellén-Miklós, a bitterly ordinary life emerges, the poems sensitively depict its painful stages. In the profane creation story, on the seventh day: "The program rests, does not respond, / Vaksi stares into nothingness with his screen eyes". In this "broken-legged" life, one can only stumble and sweat, the photos "are already yellow at the moment of exposure". The mother is reminded of the cigarette, the father the smell of the hungover beer bottle, only the bitter irony remains of the love, even the naming of the virtual "Indian chieftain" is full: "Sad shadow". The place of the poetic self is an empty spot in the world, he feels that the sky is not his sky, he doesn't notice the sign because he always looks the other way, hangs around in a big coat even in summer, "night comes / to the night", he only exists in passing time. Yet, he who is only present with his shadow, whose eyes "a pit / black sun shines", who has been driven out of harmony, in his homelessness, albeit shamefully, full of doubt, but as if he still longs for faith, to be able to lift his heart, because one day he can come together in prayer " the / inarticulate sound / debris of fear”.
