Dmitry Glukhovsky - Metró - A trilógia (2019)

The whole world lies in ruins.
Moscow has turned into a ghost town, poisoned by radioactive radiation and populated by monsters. The few survivors are hiding in the Moscow subway - the largest nuclear bomb-proof shelter on earth. Darkness dwells in the tunnels and horror nestles.
Artyom must make his way through the entire subway network to save his station, and perhaps even all of humanity, from a terrible danger. But how will he be able to decide whether he is committing a heroic deed or a colossal mistake?

Glukhovsky's story describes the world after the nuclear war, but it is actually very much about our current world: the Cold War, the refugee crisis, new dictatorships...

The three parts of Metro became bestsellers in many countries around the world, and popular computer games were also made from it. This is the first time that the trilogy - to which the author added a new chapter in 2019 - is being published in one volume.
