This Delock SATA power cable supplies power to up to four SATA devices from one free 15-pin power connector on the power supply. Metal clips on the output connectors and a locking feature on the input connector keep the plugs firmly in place, so the cable clicks reliably into position.
The cable has one 15-pin SATA input connector and four 15-pin SATA output connectors, two straight and two angled downward. Its five wires carry 12 V, 5 V, 3.3 V and ground (GND). The conductors are 22 AWG and the contacts are gold-plated.
At about 50 cm long, the black cable suits standard PC cases. It is a practical way to power several SATA hard drives or SSDs from a single power supply connector.
