This Delock SATA cable connects internal SATA devices such as hard drives, controller cards or flash memory. It has 7-pin straight SATA 6 Gb/s female connectors at both ends and a length of about 50 cm, which gives enough room for routing inside a case. Data transfer reaches up to 6 Gb/s, and the cable meets the latest standard. It is backward compatible with SATA 1.5 Gb/s and 3 Gb/s, though transfers then run only at that lower speed.
The connectors feature gold-coloured metal clips that hold the cable securely in place. The 26 AWG cable is blue, which makes it easy to tell apart from other cables in the build.
