This Delock SATA cable connects internal SATA devices such as hard drives, controller cards and flash memory. It complies with the current standard and supports data transfer rates of up to 6 Gb/s. Each end features a 7-pin SATA connector with a downward-facing plug housing, allowing the cable to be routed downwards when connected to a hard drive.
The cable is backward compatible with SATA 1.5 Gb/s and 3 Gb/s, in which case the lower transfer rate is used. Metal clips with gold-coloured finish on the connectors hold the cable securely in place. The 26 AWG cable is 20 cm long, measured without the connectors.
The blue cable suits desktop PCs and servers where a reliable link between drive and motherboard is needed.
