This Delock SATA cable connects internal SATA devices such as hard drives, controller cards and flash memory reliably. It complies with the latest standard and supports data transfer rates of up to 6 Gb/s. The cable is backward compatible with earlier SATA versions, although transfers are then limited to the lower speed of the older device.
Both connectors are angled at 90°, so the cable can be routed downward when connected to a hard drive. The connectors feature metal clips that hold the cable securely in place. At about 10 cm in length, excluding the connectors, the blue cable suits compact installations inside a case.
The cable uses 26 AWG wire and has gold-plated contacts. Both ends have 7-pin SATA 6 Gb/s female connectors.
