This Delock SATA cable provides internal connections for various SATA devices, such as hard drives, controller cards or flash memory. It complies with the requirements of the latest standard and supports data transfer rates of up to 6 Gb/s. It is backward compatible with earlier SATA versions, although the connection then operates at their lower transfer rate.
One end has a straight 7-pin SATA 6 Gb/s connector, while the other features a connector angled to the left, which helps route the cable when connecting a hard drive. Metal clips on the connectors hold the cable securely in place.
Excluding the connectors, the cable measures approximately 10 cm and is made of 26 AWG wire. It is blue, with gold-coloured metal clips.
