Czilczer Olga - Mehetünk kedves

Is there a way out of the narrow confines of existence, the limited space of the walls, the pressure of time, which ensures a shorter horizon every day? Can our desires replace unfulfilled reality? And if so, for how long? How long? And how? In the loose relationship of the main characters, Ida and Lajos, and their simultaneous clinging to each other tooth and nail, the interwoven striving to preserve their independence and avoid the threat of loneliness appears, the man and the woman gathering strength from each other to reduce the dimensions of the two to at least the imagination, in the world of illusions, eliminate and expand, at least here they can realize their desires. From Olga Czilczer's new novel, the reader should not expect twisty stories, spectacular adventures, and surprising twists. On the contrary. For the author, the inner, small vibrations of the soul, the processes taking place in the different states of consciousness of his heroes are important. The constantly changing phenomenon of reality, half-dream, thought, and imagination filtering into each other, against the background of which the world of false illusions of the last two decades of the Kádár regime emerges.
