Böndör Pál - Vásárlási lázgörbe

Despite all the social criticism, Böndör does not take on the pathos of the activists, his book is characterized by a typically restrained, self-ironic attitude throughout. The Shopping Fever Curve will not change capitalism, but it offers itself as an alternative. It offers the alternative, the "magic" of poetry, the freedom to chatter to our heart's content.

The Shopping Fever Curve was written in vers libre form, as Pound or T. S. Eliot understood the concept of free verse: as an extension of classical poetic craft. Böndör's new book is experimental and avant-garde at the same time, but conservative in its values in such a way that it does not turn it into an ideological hodgepodge. And last but not least, he can talk about love without it being sentimental kitsch.
