    The Allied Telesis AT-X250-18XTM-50 is a stackable Layer 3 switch designed for rack or desktop installation. It offers 16 RJ45 ports that support 1/2.5/5/10G Multi-Gigabit speeds, plus two SFP+ slots for optical 1G and 10G connections, so the copper ports can be matched flexibly to different endpoints.

    Layer 3 functions and support for virtual stacking of two units (VCStack) make the network easier to manage and more resilient. EPSRing and G.8032 ring protection help keep connections stable if a link fails.

    For secure operation, the switch provides 802.1x port-based authentication, dynamic VLAN assignment, DHCP snooping, STP root guard and access control lists (ACL). Storm protection, loop detection and bandwidth limiting help prevent network congestion. It runs AlliedWare Plus, offering a unified command-line interface and graphical user interface, and supports SDN and the OpenFlow v1.3 standard.
