ALLIED TELESIS TQ6702e GEN2-R outdoor Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax access point

The Allied Telesis TQ6702e GEN2-R is a Wi-Fi 6 access point built for outdoor deployments in high-traffic areas. Its two radios run in a 4x4 configuration on 2.4 GHz and 8x8 on 5 GHz, delivering a combined raw capacity of 4.8 Gbit/s. Eight external antennas provide coverage, and patch antennas with extension cables can extend the range further.

The unit is rated IP66/IP67 and operates between -40 °C and 65 °C, so it stays reliable in dusty, wet or extreme weather conditions. It can be mounted on a wall or pole, and the mounting kit is included. Power is supplied via PoE++ (802.3bt) over a single RJ-45 port, which also supports Ethernet speeds of 5, 2.5 and 1 Gbit/s.

OFDMA and MU-MIMO allocate bandwidth more efficiently among many connected clients. The access point can be managed through the Device GUI or the AlliedWare Plus command line. In larger networks, it can be centrally controlled with an AWC controller and AMF Plus, including automatic backup and configuration management.
