Adrian Tchaikovsky - Hadállat

Hadállat is a gripping science fiction novel by Adrian Tchaikovsky about war biomorphs and human nature. The story follows Rex, a two-and-a-half-metre-tall, bulletproof military creature created through genetic engineering, as he and his fellow units carry out missions in the lawless regions of Mexico.

Rex's only wish is to be a Good Dog and obey his handler. But what happens when that handler is put on trial for war crimes? And what rights does the Geneva Convention grant to biomorphs used as weapons?

This 340-page hardcover combines fast-paced military action with thoughtful reflection on the right to exist and the value of freedom. The author of Children of Time delivers another distinctive story on these themes.
