The Zyxel XGS2220-30F is a Layer 3 access switch designed for building business networks. It provides 24 gigabit SFP ports for fibre or copper connections, four 10G SFP+ uplink ports for linking to higher-level network equipment, and two 10G multi-gigabit RJ-45 ports. The unit is designed for rack mounting.
The switch offers full Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality, including L2 multicast, IGMP snooping and VLAN management. Its intelligent fan control adjusts speed automatically to the temperature, keeping operation quiet. A built-in network AV mode simplifies the configuration of audio-video over IP systems.
Power consumption is 66 W and the weight is 3.5 kg. The device supports several IEEE standards, including 802.1Q, 802.1x and 802.3az.
