      The Zyxel VMG4005-B50A is a professional VDSL2 modem designed for business use. It supports the latest DSL technologies, including VDSL, VDSL2, ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+. Its built-in VDSL2 17a Bonding technology allows service providers to double the speed of an existing connection.

      This compact desktop unit has one 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet port. An integrated line test function helps achieve maximum speed, and the modem is fully compatible with the TR-286 standard. It also supports IEEE 802.1D transparent bridging and spanning tree, as well as 802.1Q VLAN tagging and untagging.

      The modem offers comprehensive security features, including protection against DoS attacks, a generic packet filter and configurable access control for remote management. Support for the TR-069, TR-098, TR-111 and TR-181 standards simplifies remote administration, and the firmware can be updated via web, TFTP, FTP or TR-069 RPC.
