    The ET401 Exoskeleton is a rugged, impact-resistant protective boot for the Zebra ET40 and ET45 tablets. Designed for industrial and field use, it significantly improves the device's drop resistance, protecting it from falls of up to 1.55 metres.

    The boot fastens with snap-type latches and can be fitted and removed quickly without any tools. It includes attachment points to which D-rings and straps can be connected; these accessories are sold separately.

    The battery cover and the expansion back plate area remain fully accessible, so the tablet stays compatible with single- and multi-slot docking stations. Weighing 140 g and finished in black, this accessory is well suited to demanding industrial and outdoor environments.
