This XTENDLAN duplex single-mode fibre optic patch cable uses OS2-grade 9/125 µm (G.652d) fibre. One end is fitted with an LC(PC) connector and the other with an SC(APC) connector, both polished PC-APC to minimise back reflection loss.
The LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket does not release toxic halogen gases in the event of fire, so it can be used safely even in enclosed rooms with limited ventilation. The duplex design allows two-way data transmission over a single cable.
At 2 metres, the cable is well suited to short links between devices in data centres, server racks and network switch cabinets. The yellow cable is a reliable choice for high-speed optical network connections.
