When people or vehicles appear in the monitored area, the Xiaomi Home application will immediately send an alarm to your smartphone and record a video to ensure the protection of your property at all times. When the camera detects someone in the surveillance area, it automatically activates an alarm and high-frequency flashing lights to drive away potential intruders. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Home app will send you an alarm and a video.

The high-sensitivity microphone and powerful speakers, turbocharged with built-in AI-based noise cancellation algorithms, extend the audio recording range and guarantee louder and clearer sound even in noisy outdoor environments.

H.265 encoding enables smoother data transfer, thus saving storage space and bandwidth. Thanks to the advanced video compression standard, it takes up less storage space on the hard drive or NVR, uses less bandwidth on the network (so remote access is faster), all while maintaining high image quality.

Designed for outdoor use, the device has IP66 water and dust resistance, so the camera works reliably regardless of wind, dust, rain or snow. (The IP66 waterproof rating means that the product is protected against dust and water ingress, but cannot be immersed in water. The included adapter is not waterproof and is only suitable for indoor use.)
