The Xerox C255a is a compact colour laser multifunction printer designed for small offices and teams. It handles printing, copying, scanning and faxing. Both black-and-white and colour output run at 26 pages per minute with a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, and the manufacturer rates its monthly duty cycle at up to 50,000 pages.

The printer offers Gigabit Ethernet and wireless LAN connectivity and supports Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Wi-Fi Direct, so it can be reached from almost any device. A 2.8-inch touchscreen keeps operation straightforward, while the built-in document feeder makes multi-page originals easier to handle. Automatic duplex printing is also included.

The machine supports a range of media types, including envelopes, glossy paper, labels and recycled paper. Its energy-saving modes have earned it ENERGY STAR certification, and the housing contains more than 50% recycled plastic.
